About
As a student Luke studied classical performance with Simon Dobrenko and Michele Walsh, his studies culminating in a Bachelor of classical performance from the Queensland Conservatorium of music (Aus). In 2005 Luke studied at Berklee College (on scholarship) majoring in jazz violin performance. There has been numerous study trips heading back to the USA, Canada and Europe, extending his craft, networking with other like minded musicians. As a session musician Luke has recorded on over 30 Albums including the Aria award winning 'Little Bid' (Kasey Chambers), Aria nominated 'Bad Machines' (Shane Nicholson) and the soon to be released Kate Miller-Heidke disc. Luke has performed across the world with a number of artists including Delta Goodrem, Missy Higgins, Carrie Underwood, Kasey Chambers, Shane Nicholson, Rick Price, Jerry Lewis, Elaine Paige, Martin Reppeneau, Fourplay Electric String Quartet. |
